Mike Postle and Justin Kuraitis Speak Out on Controversy

Mike Postle Cheating

As reported last month, a settlement has been reached in the Mike Postle cheating lawsuit. While Postle was dismissed from the suit, Stones Gambling Hall came to an agreement with a number of plaintiffs in the suit.

Now that the lawsuit has been largely settled, two of the big defendants in the suit have begun speaking out. Both Mike Postle and Stones Tournament Director Justin Kuraitis have spoken on the lawsuit with Postle claiming that the real story will soon be coming out.

Postle Claims He Will Be Exonerated in Documentary

Recently, reports reveal that the lawsuit against Stones Gambling Hall has been largely settled with 60 of over 80 plaintiffs agreeing to the settlement. According to a story in the Sacramento Bee, the settlement will be a relatively nominal payment from the casino and is being done to try and harbor goodwill.

However, the settlement comes with a non-disparagement clause, which means that those that choose to settle cannot speak negatively about the matter. However, that hasn’t stopped Mike Postle from commenting.

Postle spoke with the Sacramento Bee and said that his story is coming out soon. He stated, “As much as I’d like to say, all I can really say right now is that I have my side of this entire fiasco to tell. It won’t just shock the poker and gambling industries, but the entire world.

This all goes way beyond just my innocence but includes an entire incredible 17+ year story along with it, and what’s happened since the allegations. In fact, it’s such a mind-blowing story, that it’s being told to Dave Broome at 25/7 Productions who will be producing a wild documentary for the world to see on it!

I’ve been waiting for many, many months on this and I’m anxious for it to finally come out. So to all the detractors and accusers who have asked, ‘Why hasn’t he spoken or provided his evidence of innocence and explanations? Well, guess what? … Now you know.”

Justin Kuraitis Also Speaks Out

Stone Tournament Director Justin Kuraitis also spoke out regarding the incident. He went onto Twitter, posting a link to a four-page statement regarding everything that has been happening in the last year. He spoke out at length against the poker community for their demonization of him and Postle as well as calling out various members of the community, most notably Joey Ingram who posted extensive video investigations against Postle.

He also spoke at length against Veronica Brill, the initial whistleblower on the entire cheating scandal. His statement paints her as a liar and someone who started this scandal without a shred of evidence. Kuraitis also calls out the “Twitter Mob” for their constant stream of hatred against him and Postle.

Veronica Brill Still Speaking Out

One of the biggest names on the list of plaintiffs not accepting the settlement is Veronica Brill. She was the original whistleblower in the Mike Postle cheating scandal. Veronica posted the following on Twitter:

Brill has continued to speak out against Pollack, Kuraitis, and Stones after the recent announcements and event posted the following about Kuraitis’ statement:

From the number of tweets retweeted by Brill and those generally floating around Twitter, there seem to be more people in support of Brill than of the defendants in the lawsuit.

Postle Saga Appears Long From Over

While the majority of the legal matters from the Mike Postle cheating saga are resolved, it appears we will hear more from this in the future. The upcoming documentary from 25/7 Productions will surely be an interesting watch and will likely be very pro-Postle and pro-Stones.

While there has been a lot stated about the “Twitter Mob” in regards to this saga, there are also a lot of unanswered questions. There’s also a lot of suspicious-looking evidence out there that leaves enough doubt to keep Postle a poker pariah for life. Unless this upcoming documentary can provide concrete evidence that there was no cheating occurring, it will likely be just viewed as another cover-up attempt.
