Koon, Kempe, Schindler and Chidwick Take Down Aria High Roller Events

The 2018 Super High Roller Bowl is in full swing at the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. Each player put up $300,000 to play in the series. Many have backers and investors to help cover the buy-in while others earned their buy-in the hard way.

Leading up to the Super High Roller Bowl, several Aria High Roller Series events were held with several big names earning at least enough to cover their SHRB expenses. Jake Schindler, Rainer Kempe, Stephen Chidwick and Jason Koon all took down events leading up to the Super High Roller bowl with Koon scoring another $1 million payday.

Jake Schindler Wins $10k Aria Event

On May 17, Jake Schindler came out on top as the victor in the $10k NL Event in the latest Aria High Roller Series. This was the smallest buy-in of the series and the field produced 35 entries.

Chidwick, Bonomo, and Koon Still Alive With 10 Left in the Super High Roller Bowl

Day 3 of the Super High Roller Bowl is underway with many of the top performers in recent Aria High Roller events still in contention. Stephen Chidwick is the overall chip leader with 10 left.

Also in the field is Justin Bonomo, Jason Koon, and Christoph Vogelsang. Other players still in contention is Daniel Negreanu, Seth Davies, Nick Petrangelo and Stephen Sontheimer.

The 2018 Super High Roller Bowl continues through Wednesday with the top seven players receiving a payday. A min-cash is worth $600,000 while the winner will take home $5 million and the first leg of the High Roller Triple Crown.

Bonomo also won the Super High Roller Bowl China earlier this year, which would make this one of the most remarkable feats in poker history. Vogelsang won this event last year and is looking to become the first two-time champion.
