While the poker world is eagerly awaiting the start of the 2019 World Series of Poker, WSOP officials have recently released the finalized schedule for the 2019 World Series of Poker Europe. The 2019 WSOP-E will run from October 13 to November 4 and will feature ten WSOP bracelet events.

This series features combined guarantees of over $14 million USD and should easily be the largest WSOP Europe to date.

2019 WSOP Europe to Round Out Bracelet Total to 100

The 2019 WSOP Europe kicks off on October 13 with the €350 “Opener” NL Hold’em Event. The first event features two starting flights with up to two re-entries per flight. The event has a nice guarantee of €220,000.

Event 2, the €550 PLO 8-Handed Event, kicks off on October 15 with two starting flights with unlimited re-entries. This event has a modest €100,000 guarantee.

Event #3, the €1,350 Mini Main Event, features a €550,000 Guarantee with two starting flights and a single re-entry. This mirrors the mini-Main Event to be held in Las Vegas and will have the same structure as the Main Event.

Event #4 is the €1,100 Turbo Bounty Hunter with €200,000 guarantee and €300 bounties on every player. Event #5 is the €1,650 PLO/NH Hold’em Mix with a €200,000 guarantee.

The first of the big guarantee is Event #6, the €25,500 Platinum High Roller. It has a €1 million guarantee and unlimited re-entries. Starting stacks for this one is 1 million. Event #7 is the €2,200 PLO 8-Handed with a €200,000 guaratnee.

Event #8 is the €100,000 Diamond High Roller and features a nice €5 million guarantee. This also features unlimited re-entries.

Event #9 is the €10,350 WSOP Europe Main Event with a €5 million guarantee and two starting flights. If you bust in Flight A, you can play again in Flight B.

The final event of the 2019 WSOP Europe is the €550 Colossus. This event has a €1 million guarantee and nine starting flights. Players can re-enter once per flight.

At the end of the 2019 WSOP-E, a record 100 bracelet will have been awarded. The WSOP in Las Vegas will award 89 bracelets while the WSOP Circuit Global Championship will award one in August.

WSOP Officials Excited to Hold Event

Not surprisingly, WSOP officials are looking forward to this event. The last two years, the WSOP Europe has enjoyed record turnouts at King’s Resort Rozvadov and they expect much of the same this year.

According to WSOP Director Gregory Chochron, “We are eager to return to King’s Resort in October for the 11th edition of WSOP Europe. King’s Resort has become the center of the poker world in Europe and they are once again bolstering this series with €14 million plus in guarantees to ensure players find plenty of value and opportunity.”

King’s Resort owner Leon Tsoukernik is also looking forward to the event, stating, “WSOP Europe has clearly become a can’t miss series for poker players and we’re delighted to once again serve as hosts. We are relentless in providing incredible hospitality and will continue to roll out the red carpet for poker players worldwide who come visit.”

The bracelets and prize money is not the only thing that will be up for grabs at the WSOP Europe. All events of the series will award points toward WSOP Player of the Year. Last year, Shaun Deeb dominated his way to a POY title. In 2017, Chris Ferguson ended up winning his sixth WSOP bracelet at WSOP Europe to secure his POY title.

For now, players will turn their attention to the WSOP in Las Vegas and by the end of the series, we will have an idea of which players will need to make the journey overseas to lock of WSOP Player of the Year.
