PokerStars Bonuses and Promotions for 2024

PokerStars Bonus

PokerStars.com is the largest online poker room in the world. Poker Stars is endorsed by poker professionals and continues to sponsor poker professionals around the world. You can see their commercials at all hours of the day – they’ve turned a little poker website into a household name.

PokerStars is well respected in the gaming industry, with tournaments sponsored by PokerStars producing multiple World Series of Poker champions, players like Greg Raymer and Chris Moneymaker.

PokerStars is happy to do business with American players. Fans of PokerStars point out that the passing of the UIGEA did not slow down or stop the site’s business at all. In fact, PokerStars.com has continued to do business with Americans and thrived even while other poker sites temporarily shut down.

Poker Stars has the largest customer base in terms of the amount of real money in play, and they offer some awesome bonuses to attract their future poker celebs. In 2024, PokerStars.com has made some significant changes in their welcome bonuses and perks system, making play there even more attractive.

PokerStars.com’s New Welcome Bonus

For a long time, PokerStars offered a straightforward $50 welcome bonus – play in a certain number of hands and earn a 100% match up to $50. Over time, that bonus became outdated. More and more poker rooms started offering larger welcome bonuses, in some cases paying players in cash just for signing up.

Use marketing code MIK500 to ensure you receive your bonus

To earn the PokerStars.com 100% bonus up to $600, enter the marketing code "MIK500" when you make your account. This is the Poker Stars welcome bonus code for 2024, entitling you to a 100% deposit match of up to $600. Earn your bonus by making three deposits (each for as much as $200 in bonus money) within ninety days of joining.

Poker Stars welcome bonus cash is released as you earn "points.” Any time you play in a real money game at PokerStars you earn comp points, as many as two points for every $1 in rake and five points for every dollar you pay in tournament fees. All told, you have to earn about 10,000 frequent player points to clear the maximum $600 match bonus. You have longer to earn your bonus cash than with most poker rooms – 180 days.

PokerStars Reload Bonuses

PokerStars is not as forthcoming about their reload bonuses. According to their website – “from time to time, PokerStars offers reload bonuses to our existing players. These are promoted via emails, on our website, and in the PokerStars game software itself. Make sure you keep a look out for any new announcements.”

They’re not kidding. Examples of some of their past reload bonus specials include bonuses of 20% of the total of your deposit during the Spring Championship of Online Poker, another 20% match opportunity during last year’s WSOP, and other poker-appropriate temporary reload bonuses.

Typically, these reload bonuses have a specific time restriction such as making a deposit by a certain time on a certain day. They pay out just like the welcome bonus -- $10 at a time based on the number of player points you earn.

PokerStars Depositor Freerolls

PokerStars has regular Depositor Freerolls, some with prize pools of up to $500,000, including first time Depositor Freeroll tournaments. When you make your deposit, just enter the 2024 Depositor Freeroll code ‘500K’ and you can get in on the action. First time depositors can get access to these tournaments by entering the promotional code ‘FIRST500K’.

There will be 120 of these freerolls running around the clock, each with a prize pool of $2,500. In December 2024, there will be eight $25,000 finals tournaments. Every one of these tournaments will pay out to the top 500 players.

PokerStars Rakeback

Though there’s no official rakeback program at PokerStars, the site considers its player points system an acceptable alternative to paying cash for rake. Called “frequent player points”, these FPPs can be traded in for gear, tournament spots, and even cash bonuses.

Online poker players love PokerStars’ software, reliability, and the variety of tournaments and games available. PokerStars.com looks to be the dominant poker room in 2024 as it has been for some years now. Put simply, PokerStars is the "best" online poker site -- quality games and competition, good customer service, and the best online tournaments. The welcome bonus, reload bonuses, and new depositor freerolls make joining PokerStars even sweeter.
