You can add another name to the growing list of online poker training sites as PocketFives has now entered the market. PocketFives Training cannot quite be considered a brand new training site since they absorbed the content, and many of the coaches, of the now defunct online poker training site PokerPwnage, including heavyweights Russell “rdcrsn” Carson, Jon “Sketchy1” Eaton, and Alex “Assassinato” Fitzgerald. PocketFives has added a few MTT stars to this already potent lineup to make perhaps the most complete MTT coaching site on the Internet.

Just as Poker Pwnage did, the PocketFives Training site will focus on tournament poker almost exclusively –which makes sense considering PocketFives is known as a tournament poker site, with their leader-boards, rankings and coaching directory.

PocketFives has integrated their online poker training site with the rest of the content offered, including their wildly popular forum and tournament leader-boards, as well as their blogs, podcasts and poker articles –there is no shortage of information at PocketFives!

Since their recent launch, the site has been releasing new training videos every other day, making it one of the most well updated online poker training sites on the market: Recent videos include a Turbo series by “rdcrsn”, a replayer series by former P5’s Triple Crown Winner “Apestyles”, and a 4-Max tournament series by “NeverScaredB”.

PocketFives has also created a training forum on its site, and has integrated the old Poker Pwnage forum into this area. In doing so, absolutely none of the old Poker Pwnage website’s content has been lost, and new customers will still be privy to all of the information contained within.

By assimilating Poker Pwnage’s training videos into their site, PocketFives Training already possesses a library with roughly 500 poker training videos, allowing them to compete with more established poker training sites right out of the gate. In addition they have put together a very sleek website design that is easy to navigate, and as I said also features all of the great freebies that PocketFives has come to stand for.

Here is a look at the entire coaching roster for the new PocketFives Training website:

  • Russell “rdcrsn” Carson
  • Jon “Sketchy1” Eaton

You can avoid the $35 initiation fee by paying for 6-months in advance (a total cost of $1179.70), or by paying for 11-months in advance and getting the twelfth month free (a total cost of $329.45).

Players can also test drive the PocketFives Training site for 2-days absolutely free.
